Law & Community Foundation, in collaboration with its community, promotes and advances the rule of law, fosters excellence in the study & practice of law, encourages contact with the legal profession and community service to enhance student experience, supports financially disadvantaged students engaged in legal studies and offers practical assistance to the underserved.

Through the Caring for the Community Campaign, the Foundation will fund the establishment for the Center for Law and Community Development.


The LCF focuses on building strong communities. The CommunityFund connects businesses, civic organizations and the broader legal community with the Foundation in identifying and addressing unmet needs throughout the region.


The establishment of scholarships provides need- and merit-based financial aid to assist students in attaining a legal education.

Established as a 501 (c)(3) foundation in 2008, The Law & Community Foundation (LCF) supports and nurtures legal services, education and research. We seek to make a positive impact on our communities by providing free legal clinics to disadvantaged communities; addressing unmet needs in the community; and providing scholarships to students engaged in the study of law.
