About Us
Established as a 501 (c)(3) foundation in 2008, The Law & Community Foundation (LCF) supports and nurtures legal services, education and research. We seek to make a positive impact on our communities by:
- developing clinics to provide free legal service to disadvantaged communities;
- connecting businesses, civic organizations and legal community to address unmet needs; and
- providing financial support to students engaged in the study of law
The LCF has partnered with the Charlotte School of Law in developing servant leaders. The public service efforts of the law school to date have resulted in over 30,000 hours of service to more than 200 community sites in the region.
